The Senior Staff Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position located at Altek's manufacturing plant in Liberty Lake, WA. The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely reporting for a manufacturing facility. This role supports month-end close, cost accounting, inventory controls, fixed assets, financial analysis, and compliance with GAAP. The Senior Accountant works closely with operations, purchasing, production, and leadership to support profitability and sound financial decision-making.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (manufacturing experience strongly preferred).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with inventory accounting, cost accounting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency with accounting software/ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
