Job Purpose
We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic team player to join our growing organization. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of our main office, supporting multiple corporate entities and divisions. You will gain hands‑on experience across a variety of functions, including customer relations and sales support, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory management.
The ideal candidate is a motivated self‑starter who is eager to learn, willing to jump in wherever needed, and excited to help improve and streamline existing processes. Prior experience in an office or accounting environment is preferred.
EssentialFunctions
- Intercompany transactions, including job materials and equipment, crew supplies, and in‑store use
- Aggregate material management, processing, reconciliation, and lease payments
- Royalty and depletion calculation and entries for sales on aggregate
- Concrete materials tracking, reconciliation, and recording
- Job costing, including tracking, reconciling, and reporting job‑related costs
- Contract administration support, including review, tracking, invoicing, and compliance with contract terms
- Invoicing – special deliveries and/or specialty work performed
- Sales and Use Tax filings for Idaho and Excise Tax filings for Washington for multiple corporate entities
- Support and assist multi‑divisional invoicing for aggregate and concrete
- Contribute to special projects as assigned: cost analysis, audit support, year‑end financials
- Assist all departments to provide coverage, achieving optimal work‑life balance and office efficiency
- Answer phone calls and emails, and direct as needed
- An associate’s degree or higher in accounting is preferred
- Basic analytical business math skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- 1‑2 years of office and customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
- Preferred ERP accounting software experience
- Ability to organize, adapt, and work in a team environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Demonstrate high motivation as a self‑starter who can work independently to manage workload
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement
- Demonstrate proper phone etiquette; use a multi‑line phone system
