Position: Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job

Take on a purpose-driven role as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long-Term Care in Cody, Wyoming. This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to shape daily lives, comfort residents, and collaborate with families to create dignified, person-centered care plans. In this assignment, you’ll apply your skills to support aging adults, manage medications, monitor conditions, and lead routines that restore independence and preserve dignity.

Your steady presence, clinical expertise, and compassionate touch will make a tangible difference every shift. Cody’s expansive skies, close-knit community, and frontier spirit create a backdrop where professional fulfillment and personal well-being coexist. And while you’re building connections here, the state of Wyoming invites you to explore its remarkable landscapes—from the foothills around Cody to the vast public lands, hot springs, and quiet sunsets that make life outside the clinic just as meaningful as life inside it.

Cody offers the warm, small-town charm of northeastern Wyoming with reliable healthcare networks and supportive staffing. You’ll benefit from streamlined case transition, collaborative teams, and easy access to outdoor recreation when you’re off duty—think hiking in the Bighorn National Forest, fishing along scenic streams, or catching a summer rodeo under wide-open skies. For those who crave variety, this role also opens opportunities to work across different locations in the U.S., expanding your experience with diverse patient populations, facility cultures, and clinical practices while maintaining the stability and guidance of a travel partner.

The region’s pace supports thoughtful care, patient education, and meaningful family engagement, all while you grow your professional identity as a Long-Term Care LPN.

In Long-Term Care settings, you’ll perform essential responsibilities that keep residents safe, comfortable, and engaged. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policy; perform comprehensive nursing assessments; develop, implement, and regularly update individualized care plans; monitor vital signs, fluid balance, nutrition, and pain; provide wound and skin care, catheter and ostomy management when indicated, and timely infection control measures.

You’ll assist residents with activities of daily living, fall prevention, and mobility, while fostering independence and dignity. You’ll document clearly in electronic medical records, communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team, and participate in care conferences with families. The role also offers growth opportunities—from stepping into charge or lead roles to mentoring new team members, pursuing specialty certifications, and expanding your scope of practice within the long-term care continuum.

Competitive benefits include a sign-on or completion bonus, housing assistance, and opportunities to extend contracts for continued placement in this rewarding field. You’ll have access to generous extension options that align with your goals, and our 24/7 support team stands ready to assist you anytime, anywhere as you travel with the company. The combination of ongoing training, robust clinical support, and a culture of collaboration ensures you’re never navigating complex shifts alone.

Our organization is anchored in empowering staff to grow, learn, and lead with confidence. We’re committed to creating a rewarding, respectful work environment that values every voice, supports continuous professional development, and recognizes excellence in care. You’ll find a clear path for career advancement, mentorship from experienced clinicians, and a culture that prioritizes patient-centered outcomes, teamwork, integrity, and well-being for both residents and staff.

When you join us, you’re joining a community that believes in your potential and stands with you as you elevate patient care and nursing practice across settings.
