Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring a FL or compact license and Epic experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital
- Patient ratios are 1:4-5
- Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 18:45 to 07:15
- Required to work every other weekend, with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Floating may be required to other units or locations within the health system
- Epic EMR experience required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
- All time-off or scheduling requests must be provided up front
- Free parking is provided with a decal given at orientation
- Scrubs must be the same color top and bottom, with no logos or prints
- Active FL or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience
- Valid ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Two professional references from recent supervisors, charge nurses, managers, or directors within the past year are required
- Flu vaccination required during flu season, with medical or religious exemptions accepted
- Applicants must not have worked in an internal contracted position with the health system within the past year
