Job description:

Responsibilities:

Provide contract operations and maintenance support for Government contracts, including task order management. Possess technical expertise in contract administration, negotiation, price, and cost analysis sufficient to review cost proposals.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Provide acquisition support to the development and administration of assigned contracts
  • Maintain knowledge of the PMD contracts and Task Orders, Performance Work Statements, and Contract Requirements Lists
  • Provide expert advice and assist in pre-and post-award Task Order program and contract administration
  • Understand acquisition process, risk management, contracting, budgeting to support mission requirements
  • Coordinate and develop contracts and Task Order Requests for RFP
  • Prepare cost reports to determine underrun or overruns to facilitate close-out
  • Assist in post award contract or task order administration
  • Attend negotiations provide support as needed
  • Maintain documentation and task order files both pre- and post-award
  • Prepare briefings, special technical reports, as requested, to support reviews and meetings
  • Provide progress and status inputs for work performed
  • Participate in Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), teleconferences, meetings, and other working groups
  • Provide verbal or written updates on projects and deliverables
Education/

Certifications:

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Certification
Required Knowledge/

Experience:

  • Final Secret Clearance
  • 4-years of experience in a government 1102 coded position (or military equivalent)
  • Knowledge of Federal contracting principles & laws applicable to pre- and post-award actions
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communications skills
Preferred Knowledge/

Experience:

  • Possess knowledge of Government accounting/financial systems
  • Military experience preferred
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and transition between projects
