Leasing Consultant

Overview

Join a winning team. Atlantic Realty is seeking several Leasing Consultants to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform all activities related to leasing to new residents, provide resident satisfaction throughout the term of the lease, and secure resident lease renewals. Our teams are dynamic, collaborative, and energized.

• Meet potential renters and guide them on tours of available units
• Follow up on leads for potential renters
• Perform background checks, credit checks, and other responsibilities to determine if prospective renters are qualified
• Prepare leasing documents for potential renters using property standards and regulations
• Keep residents informed of any changes to rental agreements or upcoming property issues
• Build rapport with current tenants to provide personalized service
• Comradery and friendships

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to apply sales skills, such as generating sales leads, conducting sales presentations, qualifying prospects, and closing
• Proficiency in using Social Media platforms for marketing, advertising, and sales-related activities, including Craigslist, Google and other search engines, and navigating the internet and websites
• Ability to interact with a diverse group of prospective clients as well as existing residents
• Strong math skills
• Strong customer service focus
• Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, property management software, and spreadsheet management programs to complete required reports
• Demonstrated professionalism when dealing with residents, vendors, and colleagues
