Teledyne is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk with excellent attention to detail, that will perform all of the Shipping & Receiving department activities.

Pack and crate product for shipment to customers, coordinate requirements with Stockroom, Customer Service and Logistics. Receive and process purchase order deliveries and distribute product to the appropriate departments. What You Will Be Doing

Shipping Responsibilities

  • Reviews customer shipment requirements, including export packaging and crating requirements.
  • Packs and crates customer orders.
  • Maintains packaging and crating material inventories, interacting with suppliers and purchasing department.
  • Interacts with multiple departments to coordinate requirements and maximize customer service.
  • Uses forklifts and pallet jacks to safely move product and load trucks.
  • Has knowledge of bill of ladings, packing lists and invoices.
  • Interacts with carriers.

Receiving Responsibilities

  • Receives purchase order deliveries, including unloading trucks and validating receipts.
  • Enters receipts into computer.
  • Interacts with multiple departments to perform, coordinate and resolve delivery issues.
  • Uses forklifts and pallet jacks to safely move product and unload trucks.
  • Distributes deliveries to the appropriate departments.
  • Interacts with carriers.
What You Bring To The Table
  • Ability to coordinate shipment and receiving requirements across multiple departments.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and understand requirements, both verbal and written.
  • Possess strong organization skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Possess basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • Ability to lift 35-50 pounds.
  • 3 years of experience in Shipping / Receiving department.
  • 3 years of forklift operator experience, with ability to use pallet jacks, hydraulic lifts.
  • 2 years of experience with carpentry for building crates, with ability to use power saws, drills.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills, including MS Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Hazmat Certification is preferred.
Salary Range

$59,900.00-$79,900.000
