Will need to travel to our downtown hospital center, Hunt Valley, Ellicott City, and Glen Burnie practices.

• Perform stress tests: monitoring ECGs while patient exercises on treadmill or receives pharmacologic agents, recording vitals, and reporting symptoms.
• Operate cardiovascular equipment to create diagnostic images and perform tests that aid physicians.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor them during cardiovascular medical procedures.
• Analyze and review images and records.
• Report test results, recognize errors and artifacts, and react appropriately.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and lab area; ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Notify appropriate personnel of potential problems or malfunction.
• Travel to practice sites as required.

• Cardiographic Technician credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of experience conducting stress tests (Bruce Protocol).
• ACLS certification (preferred).
• BLS certification (preferred).
• Certified Cardiovascular Technologist/Technician (CCI).
• Knowledge of indications and contraindications for stress testing.
• Physical stamina to work for long periods and assist patients.
• Interpersonal and bedside manner skills, emotional sensitivity to patients.
• Communication skills for brief and interview patients and coordinate with physicians, technicians, and team.
• Analytical skills and attention to follow precise diagnostic and procedural instructions.
• Must be able to perform treadmill exercise stress testing with Bruce or modified protocols.
