The Uncrewed Land and Air Systems team in Hunt Valley is seeking a passionate and skilled Systems Engineer to develop innovative ground robotics. The role spans the full lifecycle: new product development, upgrades, payload design, integration, testing, and fielding for military and commercial customers.
Responsibilities- Lead full‑lifecycle engineering design and development of established and disruptive products.
- Work across disciplines to create conceptual designs that solve complex problems.
- Perform requirements analysis, derivation, and allocation to meet customer needs.
- Develop architecture models using SysML and MBSE tools.
- Integrate MBSE into systems engineering to improve design, analysis, and verification.
- Lead hands‑on integration of components into UGVs and/or UAVs.
- Develop integration test plans and analyze data from testing.
- Define verification processes and criteria for subsystems.
- Prepare and present systems engineering work products to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with technical leads, program managers, planners, technicians, and other engineers.
- Provide technical direction for component development, integration, and testing.
- Manage system requirements and ensure delivery of production systems.
- Assist in the development of functional requirements and their allocation to hardware, software, and personnel.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 6+ years of related experience (systems or test engineering preferred) OR Master’s Degree in Engineering with 2+ years of related experience.

Skills:
Experience with hardware/software integration, requirements derivation, architecture design, MBSE, and modeling tools; proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Cameo/No
Magic products, JIRA, and SysML. - Experience documenting logical or physical designs with drawing tools such as Visio or PowerPoint.
- Previous DoD environment experience preferred.
- Certifications in MBSE (e.g., OCSMP) are a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong written and oral communication, presentation skills, interpersonal effectiveness, self‑starter, and organizational planning.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Active Secret Clearance preferred;
Secret Clearance eligibility required.
