Overview
The tag & title administrator prepares and processes tag and title work for the transfer of documents to the DMV for all states.
Responsibilities- Preparing tag and title documents
- Submitting all legal transfer documents to the DMV/MVA
- Keeping current with applicable laws and checking for accuracy in the application; ensures that all information is complete including lienholder if any
- Accurately provide refunds or request funds for additional fees due
- Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to the Office Manager
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in a dealership (preferred)
- Previous tag and title experience (preferred)
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be able to multitask
