Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a graduate product design engineer to join the team at their state of the art facility near Cockermouth. The successful applicant will gain access to an excellent training platform to get them up to speed with company products, processes, standards and customers and further enhance their skills. You will be working closely with in house engineering, production, design and sales departments to alter existing product designs and testing as well as playing a key role in new product development & introduction.

This is an excellent opportunity within a multisite, successful manufacturer who are at the fore front of their sector that are continuing to expand in every department. You will be joining a growing, loyal and experienced engineering & production team within a company who pride themselves on staff retention and development.

The Role:

* Providing Support and solutions to the engineering and manufacturing team

* Liaising with multiple teams to improve product testing and designs

* Creating designs and specifications to enable the team to manufacture required equipment, meeting industry and company standards.

The Candidate:

* Keen to develop their skills and gain access to excellent training

* Product design or mechanical engineering degree

* A commutable distance to Cockermouth
