Cobham – Chelsea FC Training Ground, plus travel to and from Away games
CONTRACT:
Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours across 6 of 7 days, or, as and when required according to team schedule.

The RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and detail-driven Performance Analyst to lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of performance data to support player development and tactical growth. You will work closely with coaches to identify key performance indicators, translate data into actionable insights, and provide impactful feedback that informs training and match-day strategies. The role also involves managing video analysis systems, coding match footage, and producing detailed reports to track player progress and team performance.
Key Responsibilities- To lead on all elements of Performance Analysis across the U18 – U12 age groups.
- To oversee the collection of relevant analysis, related to our Philosophy, principles and game model, to support the clarity of coaching provided to our players.
- To share and demonstrate data driven insights with the Head of women’s Academy and relevant coaching staff, to support a research driven programme.
- To manage all video analysis systems for the women’s Academy, both through creating relationships with key stakeholders, and managing the processes in which they are used.
- To code matches for the U18 teams as and when directed by the U18 Head coach.
- To observe and analyse opposition teams, creating opposition reports for the U18 Head coach and U18 assistant coach.
- To ensure that all players across the women’s academy have access to an online reflection system in which the club use, enhancing player development opportunities.
- To deliver weekly drop in sessions for players across the programme, for them to
- access analysis support.
- To provide monthly updates to the Head of women’s academy, in order to strategise the department, staying up to date with the latest research and technology, remaining innovative, with a clear direction for the way in which we use Analysis.
- To provide staff with up to date trends and research in analysis, linked to the clubs philosophy, principles, game model and practice methodology.
- Previous experience working in the Women’s game
- Previous experience within Youth / development football
- Previous experience in using analysis equipment and platforms
- Knowledge and expertise of industry standard performance analysis software’s such as SBG (Focus and Match Tracker), Opta, Statsbomb, Skill Corner, Second Spectrum, Hudl Sports Code, Piero, Wyscout, Studio, Elite Portal, Angles, Bosch IP Cameras etc
- Great Communication Skills
