Roofer

Coatbridge based building company are looking to recruit an experieinced roofer. Must have driving licence and experieince.

Duties and Person Spec:

Preferably from a repairs & maintenance background

Installation & Repair:
Covering roofs with slates, tiles, or sheets; installing new roofs, replacing damaged ones, and sealing joints.

Inspection:
Inspecting roofs for damage, leaks, and identifying necessary repairs.

Material Management:
Measuring roofs, calculating, cutting, and installing materials.

Site Safety:
Following strict health and safety regulations, including using scaffolding, fall arrest systems, and protective equipment.

Specialized Tasks:
Installing insulation, vapor barriers, skylights, and lead flashing around chimneys.

Maintenance:
Cleaning debris such as moss and twigs from roofs.

Safety Focus:
Good knowledge of safety regulations and working at heights.

Calculation:
Ability to measure, estimate materials, and manage budgets.
