Are you an experienced lettings / property management professional who loves a well-organised diary, a smoothly booked contractor, and a happy landlord?
Our client is looking for a Property Management & Lettings Coordinator to become a key part of their friendly and growing property team in Whitwick.
This role is ideal for someone who knows the lettings world inside out, enjoys variety, and takes pride in keeping properties (and people!) well looked after.
The RoleThis is a hands‑on position combining lettings administration, property management, maintenance coordination, and invoicing‑with occasional support to the sales team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating lettings properties from enquiry through to move‑in
- Booking and confirming viewings and valuations
- Carrying out accompanied viewings and routine property inspections
- Managing maintenance issues from report to resolution
- Liaising with landlords, tenants, contractors and colleagues
- Booking and managing subcontractors
- Raising invoices and managing financial administration
- Handling rent processing and allocations
- Chasing rent arrears and following agreed procedures
- Maintaining accurate financial and property records
- Proactively identifying and resolving issues
- Ensuring all activities align with current lettings legislation and best practice
- Supporting the sales team when required (sales experience helpful but not essential)
- Monday to Friday: approximately
10am–3pm or 9am–2pm - Alternate Saturdays:
9am–12pm
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience in residential lettings and/or property management
- Be confident managing client accounts, invoicing and rent processing
- Have experience dealing with rent arrears in a professional and compliant manner
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Communicate clearly and professionally with all stakeholders
- Be proactive, reliable and capable of working independently
- Be a strong team player with a customer‑focused approach
- Hold a clean UK driving licence and be willing to attend properties
- Be able to provide satisfactory employment references
- ARLA / Propertymark qualifications or working towards them
- Experience using industry‑recognised property management software
- Property sales experience
