Summary:

We’re seeking a capable Site Engineer to support major civil engineering works on a freelance basis for our client, a contractor with broad experience delivering complex infrastructure projects across multiple sectors. You’ll play a key role in ensuring technical accuracy, quality control and robust setting-out on live sites.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out engineering tasks including setting-out, surveying and quality control
 
* Work with GPS/Total Station equipment and interpret design information
 
* Support site management in delivering works safely and to specification
 
* Produce accurate records, reports and technical documentation
 
* Ensure compliance with engineering standards and health & safety procedures
 
* Coordinate with subcontractors and survey teams as required

Skills & Experience Required:

* Competent in unisng Total Station / GPS
 
* Good knowledge of construction documentation, drawings and design intent
 
* Strong communication and problem-solving capabilities
 
* CSCS or equivalent professional certification preferred
