Specialist Community Physiotherapist - Community Adult Services

We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.

The shift pattern for this post starts from 8:30 AM to 16:30 PM, which is a full time post (37 hours).

This post offers the exciting opportunity to work as a Physiotherapist within integrated adult services. The role provides the opportunity to maintain clinical skills and work within multi‑disciplinary teams with the aim of supporting adults and older people to live as independently as possible within their community.

The successful candidate will be working within the MDT and will provide direct clinical skills; will complete assessments, formulate a treatment plan and deliver as an autonomous practitioner. The successful candidate will carry a clinical caseload and will participate in assessment and care planning as required as part of an integrated multi‑disciplinary team, with the aim of addressing waiting lists and maximising an individual’s rehabilitation potential and their ability to remain safely at home or in a homely setting.

A current HCPC registration is required.

As from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
