Position
Customer Support Advisor (Financial Support & Solutions) – Full‑time | Permanent – Pastdue Credit Solutions (PDCS)
About the roleAt Pastdue Credit Solutions, we help customers who may be experiencing financial difficulty by having fair, supportive and professional conversations. This role focuses on quality customer service, understanding individual circumstances, and agreeing realistic and affordable solutions. You’ll never be expected to pressure customers or push unaffordable outcomes – doing the right thing for customers is central to how we work.
Responsibilities- Handling inbound and outbound calls in a professional, respectful manner
- Listening to customers and understanding their personal circumstances
- Agreeing affordable payment arrangements based on customer needs and affordability
- Supporting customers by signposting them to relevant charities and support organisations when appropriate
- Updating customer accounts accurately with call outcomes and notes
- Working towards achievable performance targets focused on service quality and positive customer outcomes
- Are a confident, friendly communicator with good listening skills
- Have empathy and enjoy helping people find solutions
- Are comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Can work independently while also being part of a supportive team
- Want a stable role with genuine development and progression opportunities
- Starting salary up to £27,000 (depending on experience)
- Monthly bonus paid for delivering strong customer service, having quality conversations, and achieving positive customer outcomes
- Performance‑based salary reviews, with up to 3 potential increases per year
