As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented
** Wall and Floor Tiler
** to join our team and contribute to the high-quality finishes that set our homes apart.
** Key Responsibilities
** 1. Precision Cutting & Fitting – Shape and adjust tiles around obstacles and openings using both manual and power cutting tools.
2. Adhesive Application – Mix and spread cement, glue, or other bonding materials with hand tools to ensure secure tile placement.
3. Tile Installation & Grouting – Lay tiles evenly, ensuring clean and precise grouting for a polished finish.
4. Surface Measurement & Planning – Review project plans and accurately measure surfaces to determine tile placement.
5. Surface Repair & Preparation – Fill cracks and holes to create a smooth base for tiling.
6. Grout Removal & Application – Clean out old grout, apply new grout, and implement waterproofing solutions where necessary.
7. Pre-Tiling Preparation – Properly clean and level all surfaces before commencing tiling work.
8. Site Inspection – Assess both interior and exterior areas to determine the best approach for tiling.
9. Surface Smoothing – Ensure walls, floors, and other surfaces are even and ready for tiling installation.
** What We’re Looking For
** 1. Qualifications – Cert 3 or equivalent. Adequate experience may be considered in lieu of qualifications.
2. Experience – Proven at least three years of experience in wall and floor tiling, with a strong portfolio of work.
3. Technical Skills – Ability to measure, cut, and lay tiles with accuracy and efficiency.
4. Attention to Detail – Strong focus on quality workmanship and precision.
5. Work Ethic – Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
6. Compliance – Understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and waterproofing requirements.
