Make a Real Difference – Team Leader (Disability Services)

Are you an experienced leader who’s passionate about empowering teams and creating meaningful outcomes for people? We’re looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our Disability Services team in Clyde North
, supporting a SIL home with clients who have high physical support needs.

About the Role
  • Lead the team, promoting a positive culture focused on quality care.
  • Serve as a positive role model to create a safe, supportive environment that fosters resilience and positive outcomes for children.
  • Ensure timely completion of all team documentation.
  • Organise and lead team meetings, including training new members through shadow shifts.
  • Delegate tasks and complete shift work, including overnight stays, as needed.
  • Provide compassionate and person-centred support to young people with diverse needs and abilities.
  • Foster a safe and nurturing environment contributing to growth and development.
  • Empower individuals to build essential life skills and promote independence.
  • Use daily routines to provide hands on training for life skills such as cooking, personal care and budgeting.
