• Evaluate and treat patients across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, long‑term care, community‑based, and home health care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of physical and developmental disorders, including motor development, strength, range of motion, endurance, balance, coordination, and gait.
• Adapt treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, interpreter data, and individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and discharge planning.
• Promote patient and caregiver self‑determination while optimizing external resources for independence.
• Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to setting‑specific rules and regulations.
• Float between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles as needed.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of growth, development, and patient safety principles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate preferred).
• Valid Physical Therapist license in New Mexico.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years current experience in inpatient and outpatient physical therapy.
• At least one year of pediatric physical therapy experience if working in pediatrics.
• Inpatient and outpatient experience required.
• Ability to evaluate and treat patients from birth to 18 years old and up to adult patients if float is needed.
• Must have previous travel therapy experience of at least 13 weeks.
• Must be flexible, team‑oriented, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work 8‑hour shifts, 5 days per week, including 1 weekend per month in acute care settings.

• EPIC electronic health record experience (training available).
• Recent pediatric experience (preferred but not required).
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (preferred).
