Make a difference in the lives of our military Service Members and their families with counseling and behavioral health expertise. Military and Family Life Counselors (MFLCs) provide proactive, preventive counseling services across military installations and communities on a flexible, ready-to-serve basis.
Leidos seeks licensed mental healthcare providers who can embrace a flexible PRN-type schedule, stepping in where needed to safeguard and enhance mental well-being. MFLCs may support adults or minors in assignments including embedded with a military unit, supporting military families, or working within a school setting.
What is Mission Ready Reserve (MRR)?Mission Ready Reserve MFLCs are trained and available counselors ready to serve when called upon. Working as an MRR MFLC allows counselors to focus on helping others without administrative burdens. Assignment takes place at the discretion of the MRR counselor.
The Mission Ready Reserve Team has a backfill (fill-in) position for an MFLC at Cannon Air Force Base in NM. This interim position supports Service Members and their families and provides exposure to the MFLC role within the program.
