Part Time Barista

Calling all coffee lovers! Yolked Kitchen is seeking a Weekend Barista to support our coffee and bar operations, assist with to-go orders, and help keep our space welcoming and well-stocked.
Weekend availability only, 4–6 hour shifts

The Barista at Yolked Kitchen is responsible for preparing high-quality espresso and coffee beverages while delivering friendly, efficient service to our guests. This role supports both the coffee bar and main bar operations, assists with to-go orders, and helps maintain a clean, well-stocked, and welcoming environment. The Barista also plays a key role in coaching and supporting servers on espresso beverage knowledge and standards.

• Prepare espresso-based beverages and coffee drinks according to Yolked Kitchen recipes and specifications
• Take coffee and to-go orders accurately and efficiently
• Stock and maintain the coffee bar area, including supplies, cups, lids, syrups, and garnishes
• Perform daily breakdown, cleaning, and maintenance of the espresso machine and coffee equipment
• Assist the bar team with glassware, bar prep, and garnishes as needed
• Coach and train servers on espresso beverages, menu offerings, and proper preparation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and surrounding areas throughout the shift
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines
• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional guest service at all times
• Support team members and assist with additional duties as assigned
• Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
• Side work as assigned
• Run food/drinks as needed
• Set up tables and chairs for private events and special occasions

• Previous Barista or coffee experience preferred (espresso experience a plus)
• Basic knowledge of espresso drinks, coffee preparation, and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly, positive attitude with a guest-first mindset
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Completion of Food Handler’s Certification required within 30 days of employment.

• Barista experience preferred
• Responsible Beverage Service training
