Maintenance Mechanic – $20–$25/hr

We’re looking for a hands‑on mechanic who loves tools, thrives in a fast‑moving environment, and enjoys being the person everyone calls when something goes sideways. This position supports our entire operation, and you’ll be the hero more often than not.

• Clean work areas and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
• Monitor machines and equipment, troubleshooting issues before they become major problems.
• Repair or replace bearings, bushings, shafts, and gearboxes, and perform greasing‑and‑lubrication tasks.
• Inspect systems, spot hazards, identify defects, and make adjustments to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Work closely with other maintenance staff and support different departments as needed.
• Enforce safety procedures and adhere to GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, Food Defense, SQF, and LOTO policies.
• Participate in safety programs, training sessions, compliance procedures, and company meetings.

• 2–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong technical ability and ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Patience and calm in a loud, busy environment.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable, and dependable.
• Capability to build respect and rapport with employees at all levels.
• Knowledge of color‑coding rules for tools and equipment.
