Job Summary
We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Project Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Clovis, NM surrounding area. We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our engineering team in Clovis, NM. This is an on-site position responsible for managing large-scale strategic capital projects from concept through completion. You will lead cross‑functional teams, develop business cases, and deliver projects that integrate new technologies and meet compliance standards.
This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Manage the full project lifecycle for major capital projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Develop business cases and project packages for executive review and approval.
- Collaborate with PSM, Commercial, R&D, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Quality, and Safety teams.
- Lead design groups during conceptual phases and establish success criteria for performance, schedule, and budget.
- Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, and ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, DEQ, and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present project updates and reports to executive leadership.
- Manage site capex and engineering activities, including mentoring interns and project engineers.
- Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent experience (minimum 7 years).
- Strong understanding of civil, process, electrical, automation, and utility systems in food manufacturing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Proficiency in MS Project and other project management tools.
- Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform light physical activity in a manufacturing environment.
