To help students learn subject matter and/or skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able and responsible adults.

• Seek to reach District standards as established in the designated curricular areas as adopted by the Governing Board as they relate to all pupils for which the teacher is directly responsible.
• Perform co-curricular and/or adjunct duties as assigned by the Governing Board, Superintendent and/or other designated persons.
• Maintain proper disciplinary control of pupils directly assigned and secondarily maintain proper control of all pupils in the Clovis Unified School District. Teachers shall enforce all rules governing the conduct of pupils, as such rules may be prescribed by the Education Code, Title 5, The Governing Board, and the District and school administrators.
• Provide a suitable learning environment for the academic and social development of all students within the guidance as established by the Governing Board, Superintendent, and designated administrator, adhering to the concept that the safety and welfare of our students is paramount at all times.

Must possess or be eligible for appropriate California classroom credential.

Must possess appropriate California public school teaching credential. Current CUSD teachers wishing to apply for a transfer; it is highly recommended that you complete the application and attach the following supporting documents.
