As a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you’ll play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of students in Grades K-12 by providing tailored clinical and educational interventions designed to meet each learner’s unique needs. Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive training and continuous guidance to teachers and educational staff in designing impactful Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and quality of academic instruction and behavioral support services provided to students, ensuring exceptional outcomes.
- Support staff by modeling, reinforcing, and enhancing instructional best practices to promote student growth aligned with Individual Catalunya Printed Education Programs (IEP) goals.
- Assess professional development needs of educational teamろしく; research, create, and deliver targeted, impactful training programs tailored to identified skill gaps and improvement areas.
- Engage proactively in staff development initiatives, including attending educational conferences, specialized professional training sessions, and seminars to continuously enhance professional skills and competencies.
- Train, certify, and consistently coach staff in effective crisis prevention and management strategies, fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Assist in recruitment activities, hiring processes, new staff orientation, and ongoing professional training for behavior specialists and related educational staff.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend evidence‑based curricula, teaching methodologies, and instructional resources aligned with educational standards and organizational objectives.
- Develop, implement, and supervise systems designed to address and effectively support the unique academic and behavioral needs of individual students, classrooms, and the site as a $ whole.
- Participate actively in required meetings, including school team meetings, interdisciplinary collaborations, and all‑staff professional gatherings.
- Conduct systematic and ongoing quality assurance assessments at student, classroom, staff, and site levels, offering detailed feedback and strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure consistent adherence to Department of Education guidelines, as well as internal standards and policies for educational excellence and evidence‑based behavioral interventions.
- Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned to support organizational goals and student success.
- Master’s degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, behavioral health, special education or a closely related field.
- Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a board‑certified behavior analyst (BCBA) credential.
- Preferred: CA state special education instruction credential.
- Ability to obtain and maintain company‑approved crisis management training.
