About

The Role

We are looking for a Partnership Development Coordinator to help expand HPA’s impact by building and nurturing relationships with schools, districts, and community organizations. In this role, you will help open new doors for partnerships across California by researching potential opportunities, engaging key decision‑makers, and supporting proposals that bring our programs to more students. You will work closely with our Growth, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure every partnership is strategic, values‑aligned, and set up for success.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on relationship‑building, enjoys being in the field, and wants to make a real difference in education and youth development.

What You’ll Do

Develop trusted relationships with district leaders, school administrators, and community partners.
  • Identify New Opportunities:

  • Conduct Strategic Outreach:
Engage decision‑makers through calls, email, Linked In, and events to introduce HPA’s mission and programs.
  • Represent HPA in the Community:
Attend events, conferences, and school site visits to showcase HPA’s impact and strengthen partnerships.
  • Collaborate Across Teams:
Partner with Marketing to craft outreach campaigns and with Program Operations to ensure smooth partnership activations.
  • Manage the Pipeline:
Use CRM tools (Hub Spot or Salesforce) to track leads, outreach activity, and partnership conversions.
  • Provide Market Insights:
Stay informed on district budgets, RFPs, and trends in education funding (such as ELO‑P) to inform strategy.
  • Support New Initiatives:
Assist in launching new programs and pilot sites, ensuring partnerships are executed with excellence.
Who You Are
  • A relationship‑builder who connects easily with educators, administrators, and partners.
  • A strategic communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • A driven and organized professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, hybrid environment.
  • Tech‑savvy and comfortable using CRM systems and communication tools, Hub Spot preferred.
  • Passionate about youth programs, equity in education, and mission‑driven work.
  • Able to travel regularly within California for meetings, events, and site visits.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, partnerships, outreach, or client relations.
  • Familiarity with public education systems and district funding models (ELO‑P, ASES, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow‑up skills.
  • Enthusiasm for HPA’s mission and core values:
Integrity, Caring, Driven, Resourceful, and Team Player.

  • Paid Time Off, Holidays, and CA Sick Leave
  • 401(k) with financial wellness resources
