CDL Equipment Operator / HAZMAT Truck Driver
Location:
Cloquet, MN. Clean Harbors is seeking a CDL Equipment Operator / HAZMAT Truck Driver to operate light and heavy‑duty trucks and equipment at customer sites, including vacuum trailers, roll‑off trailers, van trailers, box trucks, and high‑powered vacuum loaders. The role performs driving and non‑driving duties on and off customer sites associated with hazardous waste clean‑up.
$15.00/hr – $36.00/hr

- Ensure health and safety by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
- Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
- Operate a variety of Class B trucks.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Ensure customer satisfaction at the time of service.
- Properly placard vehicles to meet company and DOT requirements.
- Maintain daily logs, timesheets, and reports.
- Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations.
- Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT and other regulations.
- Observe company environmental health and safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week.
- Engage in site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.
- Valid CDL.
- Hazmat and tanker endorsement.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission.
- Ability to use various mobile devices.
- Perform physical functions as required.
- Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical.
- Meet OSHA respirator facial hair standards if equipped with respirators.
- Commercial driver experience.
- Previous Hazmat experience.
- Previous manual labor experience.
