HGV Class 2 Driver

Position: HGV Class 2 Day Driver

C) to join the team.

Hours:

Shifts across Monday to Sunday, 01:30am - 06:00am starts Twilight Shifts Across Monday to Sunday, 13:00pm- 18:00pm starts (starts for this are from 16th November) Pay Rate: £14.60 - £15.61 per hour

The role:

Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units. . Some deliveries/ returns from addresses Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck. Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category

C). Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position. Excellent communication skills. A safety-first mindset.
