CNC Programmer​/Setter

• Work to machining tolerances ensuring finished parts meet required specifications.
• Communicate with Engineering, Production and Quality Departments to complete work according to schedule.
• Set up and operate CNC lathes.
• Write and edit CNC programs using Fanuc programming language from engineering drawings.
• Machining components to drawings and specifications.
• Use various types of measuring equipment.
• Work to tight deadlines, maintain high targets in a fast paced environment.
• Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to health and safety regulations.

• 4 day working week, Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 17:00.
• Overtime available (agreed in advance).
• Christmas and bank holiday shutdowns plus nearly 5 weeks flexible holiday.
• Additional holiday pay based on average overtime worked.

• Conversant with Fanuc programming language with the ability to write and edit Fanuc programmes from engineering drawings.
• Mechanically minded, hands‑on, methodical worker with high standards.
• Qualifications and experience of working with Fanuc‑controlled CNC lathes.
• Ability to use various types of measuring equipment.
• Can understand and read engineering drawings.
• Must be able to work to tight deadlines and high targets due to the fast paced nature of the role.
• Maintain good housekeeping, adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Wage dependent upon experience.

• Programming and setting CNC lathes: 6 years.

• Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 17:00.
