MFL Teacher (French Specialist) –

A vibrant and high‑achieving secondary school in Clitheroe is seeking an enthusiastic MFL Teacher specialising in French to join their team from April 2026 to December 2026. This is a full‑time role covering KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to make a real impact on students' language learning and cultural understanding.

• Delivering engaging and well‑structured French lessons across KS3-KS4
• Inspiring students through innovative teaching and creative language activities
• Planning, assessing, and tracking pupil progress
• Contributing to the wider MFL department and whole‑school initiatives
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

• A passionate and dedicated MFL specialist with a strong background in French
• QTS (or equivalent) and experience teaching in a UK secondary school
• Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
• A commitment to high standards and student achievement
• The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
