Customer Service Associate –
Walgreens

Base pay range: $15.00/hr – $17.50/hr

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Showcase customer service best practices to all team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service to customers.
• Recommend items for sale to customers, including trade‑up and companion items.
• Process returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Maintain counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
• Check in and price merchandise as required or directed by store manager or shift leader.
• Implement company asset protection procedures.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (alcoholic beverages and tobacco).
• Construct and maintain displays for promotional and seasonal merchandise.
• Assist with separation of food items and product placement as per policy.
• Perform first‑in, first‑out stock rotation and restocking.
• Maintain working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo, poster print, and machine services.
• Handle web pick‑up responsibilities (monitor orders, pick items, and deliver to customers upon arrival).
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean, orderly store condition.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by manager or assigned by corporate.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
