We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist at Aisin Automotive Casting Tennessee Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive quality assurance tests, effectively judging and reporting results and effectively communicating abnormal results or equipment conditions.
Position ResponsibilitiesThe candidate must have the demonstrated ability to perform the (Calibration) section of the following essential functions, and the capacity and willingness to acquire the skills necessary to perform the remaining functions as determined by the company.
Coordinate Measuring Machine- Working understanding of GD&T.
- Edit & Create CNC Bridge CMM Programs (MCOSMOS, Poly Works).
- Perform CNC Bridge CMM Probe Calibrations(Mitutoyo & Helmel).
- Working understanding of AIAG Calibration & MSA requirements.
- Perform Gage Calibrations & Measurement Systems Analyses.
- Utilize software (Gage Trak) to track / manage gage inventory calibrations and MSA’s.
- Coordinate 3rd Party Calibrations.
- Track Calibration KPI’s.
- Perform Gage Troubleshooting, Repair & Maintenance.
- Working understanding of GD&T.
- Operate & Maintain Performance & Endurance Testers.
- Operate Force / Tensile Tester.
- Strong Mechanical Ability / Automotive understanding.
- Operate Hardness Testers.
Skills and Abilities
Essential
Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and techniques.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in conducting tests, recording data, and documenting findings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and troubleshoot quality issues effectively.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and standards is preferrable.
- Knowledge of MSA (Measurement System Analysis) and statistical skip lots.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification in a related field preferred.
