Overview
The ASAP of Anderson Executive Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the Executive Director (ED).
The position will require a 20-hour work week, including local travel. Some evening and weekend work is rarely required. This position will report to the ED.
Hybrid Position at our ASAP of Anderson Office.
The salary range for this position is based on a board-approved scale.
DUTIES- Work as the Prevention Coordinator to implement strategies to meet set objectives
- Provide support services and coordination of all program activities
- Create and submit quarterly & annual progress reports
- Attend required grantee training
- Attend required community events and meetings
- Plan and implement special events relevant to grant objectives
- Prepare and effectively deliver public speaking events and training events
- Provide and support training programs for students of all ages (elementary-high school) and staff, including, but not limited to, topics involving substance use, mental health, and suicide prevention.
- Track program efforts to ensure project goals, objectives & activities are successfully completed
- Facilitate Responsible Alcohol Sales Classes to ensure compliance and community safety.
- Collaborate with and organize volunteers
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, media representatives, and the public.
- Advocate, at the state, local, and federal level, for prevention initiatives and goals
- Other duties as assigned by Executive Director/Board of Directors
- Strong initiative and sense of collaboration
- Proficiency in written and spoken communication
- Presentation experience and comfort engaging an audience on a variety of topics
- Presentation experience with youth
- Knowledge of substance misuse prevention preferred
- Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, Dropbox, Canva, and social media platforms
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license
- Candidates must pass a background check and a drug screen
