Job Purpose:
The Marketing & Communications Intern will support the development, execution, and optimization of external communications across a variety of channels, with a strong focus on social media graphics and videos (Facebook, Instagram, and possibly Tik Tok).
This role offers hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, brand storytelling, and campaign support. The intern will gain exposure to strategic marketing processes, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration, contributing directly to key communication initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Basic graphic design skills preferred
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok)
- Basic understanding of social media analytics, branding, marketing strategy, and digital engagement
- Ability to create short-form video content (basic shooting, editing, sound, etc) required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar tools is a plus
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Communication Studies, Social Media Management
- Draft and edit social media posts and videos, and web content
- Support content planning, brainstorming, and weekly social media calendars
- Assist in preparing marketing collaterals, presentations, and dashboards
- Help coordinate events, campaigns, and company announcements
- Assist with photography, basic graphic design, and content collection across departments
- Participate in regular team meetings and cross-functional check-ins
- Conduct competitor social media/communications benchmarking with recommendations for improvements
- Develop mini social media campaign aligned with focus markets
- Create a library of branded short-form videos
