Mechanical Assembly Technician

Job Description

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is recruiting for a Mechanical Assembler and Electrical Assembler for a leading Robotics Company in Clinton, TN. This will start out as a contract position with potential for permanent employment.
Mechanical and Electrical assembler needed

U.S. Citizenship is required.
time and half for overtime

Entry Level

Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as Gear Packages, Gear Boxes, Electric Motor Assemblies, Robotic Manipulator, Drives and Articulator Assemblies.

• Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.

• Utilizes basic hand tools as well as calibrated equipment such as torque wrenches, dial indicators and micrometers.

• May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.

• May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

• Applicant will be included as an EHS team member and will be require to perform Safety audit in a designated area of the facility.
Education / Experience:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. with Electro-mechanical experience.

• Experienced in reading and following basic assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, work instructions, and assembly guidelines.

• Ability to follow ESD safety requirements and perform manufacturing tasks to a schedule and within predetermined
operation times.

• Ability to work well with peers and employees in all disciplines.

• Ability to use a Windows operating system to access all manufacturing documentation.

• Electro/Mechanical experience such as Automotive Technician/Mechanic.
