Tool Room Attendant (3rd shift: 8pm – 5am)

Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $24.00/hr

• Set‑up of cutting tools for the machining lines following tool setup instructions written in English.
• Using Zoller presetter equipment to measure tool offset & runout.
• Receiving and inventory of cutting tool components.
• Recording cutting tool data from kanban to database.
• Collecting used tools from the lines for reload & returning reloaded tooling back to lineside storage cabinets.
• Packaging and shipment of used tools to be sent out for reconditioning.
• Maintaining 3‑pillar and 5‑S standards of tool room area and lineside storage cabinets.

• Ability to read and follow written instructions in English.
• Ability to perform basic computer operations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to understand metric measuring system, down to the micron level.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Access.
• Experience with Zoller presetting equipment.
• Ability to read and understand 2‑D drawings of tool assemblies.
• Experience disassembling, inspecting and reassembling cutting tools.

• High school degree required.
• Some college, or Associate’s degree in technical field preferred.

• Travel requirement for this position is minimal, essentially to training classes for this field.

• Must be able to operate a personal computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
• Must perform job duties onsite.
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be able to eventually work unsupervised, and be self‑motivated to perform job duties.
• Must be able to operate as an effective team member.
• Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all company safety policies.

• Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
• Must be willing and available to work weekends and holidays as necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
