Position OverviewWe're looking for talented Help Desk Technicians to join our team in Clinton, TN. This position supports a dynamic government client and provides Tier I technical assistance to end users. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and eager to grow their IT skills in a mission-driven environment. Candidates must be available to support a 24/7/365 service desk schedule.
Work LocationOnsite – Work from one of our office locations.
Security ClearanceMust be US citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.
PrimaryRoles and Responsibilities
- Provide first‑level technical support to end users by diagnosing and resolving basic hardware, software, and network issues.
- Log all service requests and incidents in the ticketing system and ensure accurate, timely updates.
- Follow established troubleshooting procedures and elevate issues as needed to higher‑level support teams.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating clearly, staying professional under pressure, and maintaining a positive attitude.
- Support standard operating procedures and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the service desk.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0–2 years of experience in a technical support or customer service environment.
- Basic understanding of computers, software, and network functionality.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to explain solutions in plain language.
- Prior help desk or call center experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or ticketing systems such as Service Now.
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification.
- Strong multitasking and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced environment.
