Job DescriptionGrand Oaks Elementary is accepting applications for an Educational Assistant to finish out the school year. This position would start 3/23/26 and finish at the end of the school year.
This position is categorized as an Educational Assistant (EA) who works with students under the direction of a licensed teacher. The Educational Assistant is engaged in all learning activities as directed by the teacher. All Educational Assistants employed by Anderson County Schools are required to be Highly Qualified (HQ).
Qualifications- A high school diploma is a minimum requirement.
- Some college is desired.
- The successful candidate must be Highly Qualified (HQ), as defined by federal law.
- HQ status can be achieved by passing the Praxis Parapro Test, having a minimum of an A.S. degree, or completing 48 semester hours of college work.
- Experience working with students is a plus.
