Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards.

Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, including planning for each shift, monitoring performance, taking action to meet standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with incoming Shift Managers to prepare them. They may also be responsible for meeting targets and helping departments meet goals.

Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Candidates must be 18 years or older, be positive team players with a flexible schedule, and be capable of thriving in a fast‑paced McDonald’s environment.
