As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine vehicle and foot patrols. This engaging role requires visibility, outstanding customer service, and strong communication skills. You will uphold our values of teamwork, integrity, and caring for people while supporting a secure environment.

This post is both armed and requires driving as part of your daily responsibilities.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location as an armed security-related professional.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or law enforcement as required.

+ Document incidents, observations, and/or activities in accordance with site-specific protocols.

+ Follow all company policies and procedures as outlined by Allied Universal and the client location.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
