Join Our Team as an MRI Technologist at Sampson Regional Medical Center! Are you a skilled MRI Technologist looking to make a difference in the field of Radiology? At Sampson Regional Medical Center, we are dedicated to providing top-notch inpatient services and outpatient services such as physical therapy and diagnostic imaging in state-of-the-art centers and a network of physician practices that include primary care, women’s health, general surgery, and pain management.
Responsibilities- Follows prescribed procedure in the administration of Advanced Diagnostic studies or radiography
- Performs diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI technology
- Prepares patients for advanced Diagnostic studies or radiographic procedures
- Collaborates with radiologists to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis
- Ensures patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Evaluates Advanced Diagnostic scans for technical quality and appropriate labeling
- Maintains accurate patient records and documentation
- Adheres to all safety protocols and regulations
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program required
- ARRT Certified with strong knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging
- Experience in Diagnostic Radiology
- BLS Certification
- Ability to perform DEXA
- Excellent understanding of Medical Imaging and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Registry in MRI
- General knowledge of other imaging modalities preferred
- Knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology
- Ability to take X-Rays when needed
- Registry in one or more Advanced Diagnostic Modalties
