Required Skills:

• Current and valid North Carolina medical license
• Active NC DEA registration
• NC Medicaid, NC Medicare/PECOS enrollment
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in obstetric and gynecological patient care
• Ability to perform emergent C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and GYN procedures
• Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
• Capable of managing high-risk deliveries and emergent situations
• Willingness to work on-call shifts during specified periods

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience with high-risk pregnancy management
• Familiarity with hospital-based obstetrics and gynecology protocols
• Prior experience in a hospitalist or emergency obstetrics setting
• Knowledge of hospital electronic medical record systems
• Bilingual abilities in Spanish or other languages are advantageous

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of OB-GYN residency program
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical obstetrics and gynecology practice
• Recent case logs from the last 24 months, including high-risk deliveries

Other Requirements:

• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• No recent or open malpractice cases or disciplinary actions
• Must be within 20 minutes of the hospital facility
• Able to round on patients, manage on-call duties, and coordinate emergent procedures
• Available for scheduled coverage from Friday, April 10th at 8 AM to Monday, April 13th at 8 AM, and Friday, April 24th at 8 AM to Monday, April 27th at 8 AM
• Travel reimbursements capped at $500, including mileage, rental, airfare, etc.
• Provider must be enrolled with PECOS and possess an NPI number
