The facility features modern labor and delivery facilities with 3 labor rooms, 14 postpartum beds, and a Level 1 nursery. The hospital offers excellent support systems including 24/7 hospitalist support staff, anesthesiology, and radiology services.

Job Details:

• Coverage needed for 24hr call shifts:
March 23rd 8A - March 27th 8A and April 10th 6:00A - April 13th 8A

• Must have active NC license, NC DEA (with NC address), and NC Medicaid credential

• Provider must be currently enrolled with PECOS as a provider

• Responsibilities include rounding on patients, on-call for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries

• Available for emergent GYN procedures as needed

• Manage routine deliveries with decision-making for C-sections

• Handle complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions

• Perform repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

• Provide office/minor gynecology services (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)

• Conduct surgical gynecology including open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, and operative/major procedures

• OB ultrasound interpretation skills required

• Must be fully vaccinated and board certified

• No recent or open malpractice cases

• Must be within 20 minutes of facility per hospital bylaws

• Housing provided in hospital apartments adjacent to facility

• Facility averages 27 deliveries monthly with approximately 11 C-Sections

• Typical census is 1-3 deliveries per 24-hour period

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
