Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician

Join our dedicated healthcare team as an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) physician, providing vital maternal and gynecological care in a dynamic hospital setting.

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes through high-quality clinical services, including deliveries, emergent GYN procedures, and on-call responsibilities for emergent cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries. Required Skills:

Active North Carolina Medical License and NC DEA registration (with NC address)
NC Medicaid and Medicare/PECOS enrollment
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Recent experience in obstetric delivery, including case logs from the past 24 months
Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
No recent or open malpractice cases or disciplinary actions
Proven ability to handle high-risk deliveries and emergent GYN procedures
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to participate in on-call duties and coverage of hospital shifts

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience in high-risk obstetrics and transfer procedures
Familiarity with hospital systems and neonatal support protocols
Additional certifications in advanced obstetric or GYN procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:

Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology, particularly in hospital settings
Experience with hospital-based obstetric care, including labor and delivery management

Other Requirements:

Ability to reliably commute within 20 minutes of hospital facilities, including hospital apartments
Participation in hospital rounds, on-call for emergent procedures, and support of high-risk patient transfers (no NICU at facility)
Availability for coverage starting on April 10, 2026, with scheduled dates of April 10-13 and April 24-27, 2026
Provider must round on patients, be available for emergent C-sections, and support GYN emergencies as needed
