Tink Bird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a board-certified Family Medicine physician to serve as core faculty for a Family Medicine Residency Program. This is a unique opportunity to help educate and prepare community-based physicians to care for rural populations while also providing outpatient care in a hospital-owned practice setting. We are looking for a skilled and experienced physician who is committed to providing outstanding, compassionate care to all patients.
Position Highlights:
Responsible for supervising and teaching residents
Strong emphasis on teaching and patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with opportunities to develop administrative skills
70/30 preceptor-to-clinical workload
Hospital rotation required 12 weeks every 6 to 8 weeks
Daily outpatient volume of 2025 while in clinic
Wide scope of services offered across multiple specialties, including General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, and Urology Candidate Requirements:
Board-certified in Family Medicine Inpatient and outpatient experience required
Comfortable performing joint injections, dermatology procedures, and OMTRecent graduates encouraged to apply
No visa candidates will be considered

About Us:
Tink Bird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced, Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician (MD or DO) to join a Family Medicine Residency Program as Core Faculty at a community-based teaching hospital in North Carolina. This role is ideal for physicians who are passionate about medical education, resident mentorship, and full-spectrum family medicine, and who bring established inpatient and outpatient experience to an academic setting.
This position combines resident teaching and precepting with an outpatient continuity clinic, allowing physicians to meaningfully impact the next generation of providers while maintaining active clinical practice in a supportive, mission-driven environment focused on rural and underserved care.
