Fleet​/Medicaid Transportation Coordinator

This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. The schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

The Fleet Support/Medicaid Transportation Specialist plays a vital role in supporting Compass Health’s Medicaid Transportation program and agency-wide fleet operations. This position ensures individuals can access essential services in a timely, safe manner while staff have dependable vehicles to carry out their daily responsibilities. Through strong coordination, organization, and attention to detail, this role helps advance our mission to Inspire Hope.

• Coordinate daily transportation schedules to ensure timely, efficient service delivery
• Support drivers in meeting scheduling and service expectations
• Prepare accurate billing documentation for approved transportation services
• Maintain contingency documentation processes during vendor portal outages
• Monitor compliance with vehicle maintenance guidelines
• Provide client transportation services as needed
• Maintain and update internal fleet records and external fleet management/WEX systems
• Process annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks for authorized drivers
• Manage fleet-related communications and shared email accounts
• Track electronic vehicle logs to ensure compliance and accurate reporting
• Serve as Chief Car Captain, supporting and training site-based Car Captains
• Facilitate Car Captain transitions and assignment updates
• Conduct vehicle usage and location audits to ensure accountability
• Order, issue, and monitor WEX fuel cards for proper use and compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification(S): EDUCATION

High School/GED preferred

Qualification(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

At least one (1) year of administrative work experience preferred

Qualification(S): LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

A valid, unrestricted driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required
