Description

Position PurposeImprove production efficiency by operating manufacturing equipment and filling production position vacancies, as directed each day by production leaders.
Major Responsibilities- Proficiently operate press inking systems and color match as required.
- Proficiently operate quality control devices used to determine color variation (X‑RITE).
- Proficiently record and track required documentation when toning. (Ig. Laydown order, PCP).
- Ability to sight ink formulas and distinguish between all color matches during the printing process through direct visual inspection.
- Know all safety requirements for a printing press operation.
- Must demonstrate the ability to maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
- Physically capable of moderate to heavy transferring of objects up to 50 pounds.
- Stage materials at the Slitters, Laminator, and Presses to allow efficient operation of these machines.
- Proficiently demonstrate the ability to set up the laminator rewind station.
- Consistently demonstrate the knowledge necessary to control tensions on production equipment.
- Demonstrate the ability to properly dispose of waste in accordance with Company policy.
- Actively participate in sanitation activities.
Production Alternate
- Ability to receive, comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to perform calculations involving decimals and fractions and reading a ruler.
- Maintain an understanding of the materials used in production and their specific differences.
- Visually inspect print quality and understand the factors in production which may cause a variance.
- Possess a positive attitude and be able to work without supervision in a team environment.

Work shifts will be 12 hours. Overtime may be required.
