Tack Truck Operator

We are hiring for one of our prime clients seeking a dedicated Tack Truck Operator to support asphalt paving operations and ensure safe, efficient material transport to roadway job sites.

The Tack Truck Operator is responsible for safely operating a TCT truck to transport and deliver asphalt materials for paving projects. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient asphalt operations by ensuring timely deliveries, supporting the paving crew, and strictly adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Experience working on Maryland roadway projects
• Previous experience operating TCT trucks and supporting asphalt paving operations preferred

• Valid CDL (Class A or
  
  B) with Tanker Endorsement

• Knowledge of asphalt paving processes and job site safety
• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to operate safely around crew members and heavy equipment
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable transportation for daily travel

• Outdoor roadway and construction site environment
• Daily travel to project locations
