American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor and Delivery position requiring NRP, STABLE, and C-EFM certifications.

• Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit specializing in high-risk obstetric care
• Day shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday are required
• Call required with on-premises response within 45 minutes, totaling 36 hours every 6 weeks or 12 hours per pay period
• Floating required to units within the obstetric skillset such as Mom/Baby and postpartum
• Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care for laboring mothers and participating in all aspects of the delivery process
• Must be able to float within similar units based on staffing needs
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted
• Team environment that values high-risk L&D experience

• Active MD or compact state RN license
• Minimum of 2 years recent Labor and Delivery experience with high-risk cases
• Certifications required:
  Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE, and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM)
• Skills in circulating, fetal heart monitoring, and ability to precept or act as charge nurse
• Triage experience preferred
• AWHONN certification preferred
• First-time travelers are accepted
